Cookies and similar storage
This policy covers the public CoPatch website and its optional visit measurement. The CoPatch team uses browser session storage, not analytics cookies, for this measurement. “Allow cookies” includes this similar storage. No advertising pixels are added by this feature.
Optional measurement stays off until you allow it. You can browse and join the waitlist without it.
What stays in your browser
copatch.acquisition-consent.v1- Remembers your allow or decline choice in this tab’s session storage. It is not a persistent, cross-device preference.
copatch.acquisition.v1- After you allow measurement, stores a random session identifier, timestamps, campaign information, and a referring hostname. The identifier is valid for 30 minutes. The local record can remain until it is cleared, replaced, or the tab’s session ends.
The 30-minute limit is not a deletion deadline for records already saved on our servers. The current system does not automatically delete server records after a fixed period.
What is sent and why
With your permission, we record the session identifier, visit time, campaign source, medium and name, and the hostname of a public referring website. This helps us understand which links bring people to CoPatch and lead to waitlist signups.
If you then join the waitlist, your signup can be linked to that session and your email address. The signup also sends the original referring URL supplied by your browser, which may include a path and query string. This linked information is not anonymous.
Our acquisition table does not store raw IP addresses. Hosting and security logs may still contain IP addresses and technical request information, separately from optional measurement.
Services we use
- Vercel hosts the website and handles requests. Vercel privacy notice.
- Supabase stores waitlist and optional measurement records for our internal reporting. Supabase privacy policy.
- Resend handles your requested waitlist confirmation and launch-update emails when you sign up. Resend privacy policy.
Changing your choice
Use the cookie settings below or the footer’s Cookie settings link. Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal keeps optional measurement off, even if you previously allowed it. If browser storage is unavailable, measurement also stays off.
Withdrawing consent stops new measurement, cancels pending requests where possible, and clears this tab’s measurement record. It does not automatically delete records already saved on our servers or remove your waitlist signup.
